Aetna has been selected as the new Texas State University Student Health Insurance Plan carrier for the 2022-2023 Plan year. This decision was based on the benefit needs of students, provider access, and costs. Enrollment for the Spring is open from October 17, 2022 until February 1, 2023. Enrollment for the Spring and Summer is open from October 17, 2022 until February 1, 2023.
Am I eligible to enroll in the Student Health Insurance Plan?
Domestic Graduate students must be enrolled in 6 or more hours (3 or more for Summer), with at least 50% face to face, to be eligible to purchase Student Health Insurance Plan coverage.
Domestic Undergraduate students must be enrolled in 9 or more hours (3 or more for Summer), with at least 50% face to face, to be eligible to purchase Student Health Insurance coverage.
Students who purchase Spring/Summer coverage in the spring semester must meet the above eligibility requirements for Spring only.
